Blushing Bride Session – Monique
Hi again everyone! I know I am on a roll lately with this whole blogging new sessions thing, but this one I must admist is an old session. Somewhat. Monique is one of my beautiful Blushing Bride’s…. and well, she married a sort of snoopy husband a couple of weekends ago, (don’t worry, you’ll see those photos soon) and this is the reason I couldn’t post any of her bridals until now. haha. That’s ok. I would be snooping around too. See, the thing was that Josh, Monique’s now husband, REALLY wanted to see which dress Monique had chosen and Monique told me that Josh was doing anything and everything he could to figure it out…. so I just thought that would be a fun story to share…. so HEY JOSH! Check out your girl now! Isn’t she gorgeous? I think if Josh HAD seen these photos any sooner, he probably woulda pushed up the wedding date. haha…..
Until the next time…

Hey everyone! Well, here it is…. I’m very pleased with how this session turned out of Lena. She’s an absolute doll. Didn’t really cry one time through the whole session accept for when we took her away from her chocolate cupcake. Yes I know, this post comes with a warning, if you haven’t eaten lunch yet, you might want to do so before looking at these photos, b/c watching Lena eat that cupcake can sure make a person hungry! haha. Lena is turning one year old and I know she’s got a lot of wonderful years ahead of her!
To Lena’s Mommy and Daddy, please sit back and enjoy… I hope you love your photos as much as I do.
Many thanks… and here we go!

Hey everyone. Boy it sure has been busy in the photography world for me lately! YAY! I loveeeeee this business. It gives me a good reason to see old friends again, and often! (Enter Amy, Eli and Christian) So, this weekend we had to take a bit of a detour from the slightly soaked Pumpkin Patch where we were going to shoot, to downtown Baton Rouge, a.k.a. inside! Amy and I have this on-going joke of how she LOVES props and stuff in her photos, so I knew she would totally be in her element at the pumpkin patch, but as you will see, they didn’t leave all of the props at home…. they brought a tricycle for Christian! haha…. (love u Amy) I think the photos with the tricycle turned out wonderfully. Good choice Amy! ;o)
Last time I took photos of Christian, was when he was 3 months old… you can see his photos here! But boy has he grown, he is now about to turn 1 year old and he has just sprouted right up! I can’t believe it’s been this long since I’ve seen my sweet friends, but I’m sure glad I did. Amy and Eli, as always, I love you guys and I couldn’t be more blessed to have such great friends in you both. Christian is an absolute doll and I can’t wait to shoot with ya’ll more in the future… Before Colorado comes!
Enjoy…

{Wedding Photos} Amy and David
I am so glad that I am finally able to post up some real sneek peeks of Amy and David’s wedding. Now be prepared to see alot of photos, b/c I am just so happy for them, I want to show the world! lol Amy and David’s ceremony needless to say, brought so much joy into my heart… seeing them share vows with one another like they did. I tell ya, they could NOT take their eyes off of each other ever since they saw each other that afternoon. You’ll see it in Amy’s face, and you’ll see it in David’s, just how in love they are with each other.
I’m only posting up photos from before the ceremony right now as I’m sure I will post up some more soon from the wedding and reception!
Amy and David, God is good isn’t he?! I am so happy for the both of you and I cannot wait to see you both again soon.
Much love,
Amanda

I just think that Amy’s ring is SO pretty! She’s one lucky gal!

Amy and her Mom.

Ok, aren’t these the sweetest little flowers girls you’ve ever seen? They are such dolls.

Check out Amy’s rockin’ baby blues! FIERCE! lol ;o)

I just love this one of Amy. So beautiful.

This is David and his Mother, right before he was to walk down the aisle. A very sweet moment. His Mom is just a doll.

So sorry everyone for the delay in posting… this last week and a half have been such a whirlwind. I’m currently typing to you all with a fever right now, but needless to say, I got antsy and at least wanted to post up something from the wedding in Pasadena.
Now, this isn’t all she wrote, but this is something I just really wanted to post as a sort of teaser. I will tell you all more about how David and Amy’s wedding went a little later on, but for now, just take a small glance of a couple of the details!
oh and by the way, the wedding went good… ;o) great in fact!
here ya go….

Sweet [Little One] Cameron
Hey everyone….
Yesterday after work, I was able to go and shoot with one adorable little 3 week old Cameron. He will actually turn 3 weeks old on Thursday, but even still, he was just so tiny and adorable. Cameron’s Mom, Holly was just such a sweetheart… you could tell just how much she loves him…. from his wonderful nursery to the little ways she would soothe him. All in all, I’d chalk this up to one enjoyable session for me. Of course I just LOVE tiny babies… it seems I’m surrounded by them lately, but enough jibber jabbering…. I hope you all enjoy these photos as much as I do.
Holly, thank you for welcoming me into your beautiful home and I hope these photos will prove to be wonderful memories for you and your family of 3!
Til the next one…
Amanda

Holly is a school teacher and she told me that of course, the first thing she had to put up was the alphabet! I absolutely LOVE this idea…. everything was so cute. Yellow walls…. i LOVE yellow!

I love this photo above…. it just represents such innocence and peace… at least that’s what it makes me feel like!

In this photo above, I just call these the sweet spots on a babies…. you know, the ones that are fun to kiss and smooch on!!!

Cameron’s going to be a Tiger Fan!!!!! YAY! Geaux Tigers!

Soooo excited about this post, as I’m sure that you will see when you see ALLLLL of the photos I will post! I actually finally had the honor of shooting with a friend of mine from church, Lani and her darling family. Her husband, Robert and two children… Alexis – 4 years old and Gabrielle – 1 year old. Both girls are just so precious and lovable, and Robert was the best man in the world, from running to get to the car so that we could all pile back in and dry off our hair in the a.c., to shoving my adorable but aggrivating zebra print chair back into my car. (needless to say, unless i get a larger car, this chair won’t be going many places with me) I just told Lani that I needed to just go and buy a larger vehicle! What better reason right?
Lani, I love love LOVE your family and I’m so glad that we finally made this session happen. I hope to hang more with you all soon, and I sure do hope that these photos do the beauty of your family justice.
Much love…
Amanda

Before I snapped off this photo, I asked Alexis, “Hey do you know where Jesus is?” and then she pointed up to the sky, and I just thought it was so cute…. had to post it. ;o)
